Solutia Inc. has completed the sale of its resins, additives and adhesives businesses to UCB S.A. for $500 million. The agreement includes 10 production sites that make liquid and powder coating resins, technical resins, additives and pressure-sensitive adhesives. The businesses employ approximately 1,700 in 22 countries and had sales of approximately $560 million in 2002.
